really sweet movie
at first i thit it took place in the 70s
looking at the previews and all
but is not
is the present
just that takeshi and and felmale lead zhou xun as sun na are actors
hired to act in a musical movie that took place in the 70s
thats why there's all that singing
but the story line of the movie that they're playing
is very much like wats is happening in real life
the movie is abt a pair of childhood sweethearts
broken up
the gal lost her memory
a circus master took her in gave her another memory
and they fell in love
when the real bf found her
she's happy in the circus in love with the circus master
but then slowly accepting the fact that she forgotten him
as she rised to flame
and in real life the actress sun na is also the same
she and takeshi was in love
until she left him for a director so she can have a role in his film
heartbroken takeshi left china and went back to hk
but in a twist of fate takeshi became an actor too
returns to china 10 years later
to act in the movie

sun na's current bf
is a really good movie
takeshi is a GREAT actor
that scene where he cried in the swimming pool
under the water
was beautiful
nvr known crying under water had that effect
and takeshi is a hottie
only he can wear that huge nerdy glasses
and still look gorgeous
